Richard Skippon, National Lead & Partner, EY

As a Partner and Senior Resource, Richard Skippon has led the EY Team in the development of a future state organizational design and a change management implementation plan for EDC’s Chief Risk Officer Group. This has included conducting current state organizational assessments, development of design principles, detailed review of EDC’s operations, business strategy, workforce, and culture, change impact and readiness assessments, and a change management plan and roadmap. Richard's other recent experiences include leading a Canadian Bank through the development and delivery of change management activities for an enterprise-wide Compliance Enhancement Program, leading the development of an HR shared services operating model for a large Federal government department, leading the HR components of a review of control function independence at a large Canadian insurance company, and leading the organization redesign of upstream accounting for an integrated Canadian oil and gas company.
 

Antoine Mindjimba, Senior Manager, People Advisory Services, EY

Antoine Mindjimba specializes in Change Management, Performance Improvement and training, and is accustomed to working in international environments. He has deep experience in the global rollout of change management and training programs across a number of industries. Additionally, as a professional international ice hockey player for 22 years, Antoine brings unique insight into how to motivate and develop high-potential individuals and teams.
 

Narendra Acharya, Partner, Employment & Compensation, Baker & McKenzie

As a partner and member of Baker & McKenzie’s Global Equity Services group, Narendra Acharya focuses his practice on matters relating to U.S. and international employee benefits and executive compensation, including global stock plans and pensions, and matters pertaining to pensions, executive compensation and employment issues in mergers and acquisitions. He has particular expertise dealing with cross-border compensation issues, including issues raised in corporate reorganizations and inversion transactions. Narendra assists U.S. and non-U.S. companies in the design and implementation of employee stock plans. He has extensive experience advising clients on income tax, social security, payroll withholding and reporting, local corporate tax deduction, employment law, securities and other regulatory issues applicable to equity awards in numerous jurisdictions.
 

Éric Lévesque, Partner, Tax, Stikeman Elliott

Éric Lévesque is a partner and member of the Tax Group. His main areas of practice include tax and legal advice on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structuring and financing, investment fund structuring and the taxation of financial instruments. Éric's clients include private equity funds, tax exempts and institutional investors, certain public companies as well as high net worth individuals.
 

Stephanie Weschler, Partner, Employment & Labour, Stikeman Elliott

Stephanie Weschler is a partner in the Employment & Labour Group, and a member of the Knowledge Management & Legal Innovation and Continuing Legal Education Committees in the Montréal office. Her practice is focused on all aspects of employment law, with a particular emphasis on advising public and private companies on the employment and labour law aspects of purchase and sale transactions. Stephanie has strong expertise in private equity firm acquisitions and divestitures as well as in cross-border matters, acting for clients throughout Canada, the U.S. and internationally purchasing targets in Canada.
 

Domenico D’Alessandro, Managing Director, Gallagher McDowall Associates

Domenico D’Alessandro is a Managing Director, and has been consulting in the Human Resources field for over 20 years. He has strong experience assisting clients from various industries with their compensation strategy, program design and administration needs. Domenico's primary areas of expertise include executive compensation; research, implementation, and maintenance of sound Corporate Governance practices; the management and coordination of complex competitive market compensation reviews; compensation policy, structure, and program analysis and design; and job measurement methodologies.
 

Robert Levasseur, Senior Consultant and Principal, Gallagher McDowall Associates

Robert Levasseur is a Senior Consultant and former leader of the executive compensation practice at Gallagher. With more than 20 years of experience in executive compensation consulting, he has held positions as a senior compensation and benefits practitioner with a number of prominent Canadian corporations including Rothmans International, Canada Post Corporation, Sherritt International and Steinberg Inc. Robert provides advice to boards of directors and management on technical and governance issues relating to executive compensation. He has assisted various public and private clients in developing executive compensation strategies and committee governance protocols.
 

Josée Bennett, Associate Partner, Mobility EY

Josée Bennett has over 20 years of experience managing Global Mobility programs for key Canadian multinational companies. Working with these organizations, she co-develops and implements their Global Mobility policies, as well as processes and policies for short-term business travellers. Josée also works with Canadian and non-Canadian companies in developing compensation structures to minimize tax and social security costs, and implementing payroll structures in home and host countries.
 

Jonathan Gomez-Trochez, Immigration Practice Leader for Québec, EY

Jonathan Gomez-Trochez is one of EY's global subject matter experts in immigration issues relating to short term business travellers. With 10 years of experience managing small- to large-scale client engagements across various industries, he has extensive knowledge and experience with the design and implementation of global compliance programs for business travellers, expatriate workers, intra-company transferees, rotational workers and local hires. Jonathan’s professional experience includes immigration advisory and compliance services to executives of major multi-national corporations, global mobility program coordination, and technology solution design and implementation.
 

Gordon Frost, Partner and Market Leader, Mercer

Gordon Frost is a Partner and Mercer Canada’s Career Business Leader. He is responsible for a team of professionals across Canada that provides services including human capital strategy, leadership development, talent management, executive compensation, workforce rewards, HR effectiveness and communication, along with Mercer’s information and technology solutions. Gordon has extensive experience advising on the design of executive compensation programs and has led broader projects related to talent management and leadership development with a focus on the needs of a globally mobile workforce.
